What we did on EID?

Image
On 3rd May after our vlog of LODHI GARDEN , we decided to visit the Jama Masjid first to shoot a video on the occasion of Eid. Firstly, we planned to visit this place around 6 am in the morning, but due to some reasons we could not go. So we left home around 8 am and we were troubled by the heat. It was around 40 degree temperature. I had not done my breakfast. There was no rush on the road till Nangloi. People were offering their prayers on the main road of Nangloi and, behind the Nangloi metro. Khazan captured this moment. It was our first time, when we witnessed this moment during Eid. We took Nangloi metro for Jama Masjid. We reached Jama Masjid around 10 am in the morning.   I was hungry and thirsty, both at the same moment. We drank chilled Shikanji. There was no rush in the front of the Jama Masjid during this hour because we expected a huge crowd at this festival. Maybe we were quite early as the market was not started yet. Then we took Mohabbat ka Sharbat, Khaza...

Lodhi Garden

Image
After getting bored at Boho Bazaar , we were looking something for our vlog. So we decided to visit the Lodhi Garden. We were hungry as hell. So Khazan decided to eat Bread-Pakora and I took Kachori. It was a waste of money, as there was no taste at all. It costed us 80 Rs., shitty day for us. Now we were taking the help of Google maps and walking continuously. Khazan told me that he has travelled on this road earlier when he was visiting Safdarjung Tomb with Aakash and Parveen. We entered an Art Gallery on the way, but it was closed due to the timings. We reached Lodhi Garden around 6 pm.  After reaching Lodhi Garden, I asked Khazan to take some clips and photos for our Instagram. There was a water fountain in the park. Firstly, it was like a normal park (same as Rohini Parks) but after a little distance, it was really something. Firstly, we entered an abandoned tomb. Then we witnessed a beautiful tomb. It was not maintained, but yes, you can add it in your Watchlist. People...

Boho Bazaar at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium

Image
After Lotus Temple , we were going towards the next destination which was Boho Bazaar at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. I forgot his name, the YouTuber from Malaysia. He was also with us as he had to take his flight. We left the metro at JLN stadium. It was a quite hot day today, and we were thirsty and hungry at the same time. We took a walk of almost 2km to reach at the entrance gate. We bought a packet of chips and a cold drink. It reminded about my college fest, as most of the crowd was there because of the teenagers. We were waiting outside and then we had to take the tickets by showing the QR code at the counter. Khazan did a very silly mistake, he booked a ticket for 10th April instead of 9 April. Now we were looking for a help and no one was there, unfortunately. I asked someone if they need tickets for tomorrow at half price. In the end, Khazan asked me to book the tickets this time. Overall, it costed us Rs.1000 and we had no idea that the price of the tickets will be high ...

Lotus Temple

Image
It was pre-decided that we will take a trip towards Lotus Temple during our last round at Nehru Palace Market . We didn't check the timings to enter the Lotus Temple last time, that is why we were late. Today our primary concern was Boho Bazaar at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. Anyhow, we left home around 8:30 am on 9th April. It was a hotter day than our last visit at Surajkund Mela. We took Nangloi metro at 9:10 am. It was less crowd as compare to our last journey. We changed at Inderlok, and then we took Ballabh Garh side metro from Kashmere Gate. We got a view of the Lotus Temple from the metro and got an idea also for our direction. We deboarded at Kalkaji Metro station. There was a huge crowd outside the Kalkaji Metro station. Khazan told me that the reason behind this crowd can be Ramnavmi. Khazan asked me to get some breakfast. There was a stall of Chholey Bhature, I denied. So we were now walking continuously, assuming the direction with confidence. While walking for almost ...

Nehru Place Market

Image
After Tughlaqabad Fort , we were going to visit Lotus temple as Kalkaji location was nearby.  After visiting the fort, we ate ice cream. Now we were waiting for a vehicle for Kalkaji. Everyone was denying, then someone said that he will left us in the half way towards our destination. Khazan slept. I was checking on the internet about the timings of Lotus temple  and the last entry was 5 pm. It was already 4:30 pm and there was traffic on the road. We saw an accident. We reached Tara Apartment and told Khazan that i am already aware of this place, as I have visited this place during college days. From Tara Apartment location, we took another auto  for Lotus Temple. Unfortunately, it was already 5 pm, so we decided to visit the Nehru Place Market. We reached Nehru Place metro station around 5:15 pm. Khazan got tired. I bought two double egg rolls and the taste was gross. Khazan put the egg roll in the bag. He asked to buy a cold drink. Now, it was my turn to shoot th...

Tughlaqabad Fort

Image
After Surajkund Mela , now we were going towards next destination, which was Tughlaqabad Fort . We were going back from the same route, took e-rickshaw and reached Tughlaqabad metro station. Now, we took the help from Google maps. And after walking more than 4 km, we were standing at the same place, where we took the e-rickshaw. Khazan got tired of walking, so we covered the distance through a four wheeler. After 20 minutes, we reached Tughlaqabad Fort. It was looking good from outside. We went upstairs and scanned the barcode. But Khazan's mobile was not working properly, so we took the tickets on cash. It was 25 Rs. per person. Someone was cutting the cake under the light of sun, temperature was almost 40 degree. Someone was hitting the ground with water to cool it off. It was like an abandoned place, and you can count it as a less visited place, an excursion. Khazan took an introductory video, video quality was high this time. You can not visit this place more than once, becaus...

Surajkund Mela 2022

Image
After the journey of Mini Qutub Minar , we were trying something new. You can compare our 'new' with the historical places that we had covered so far. It was one of my college friends ' Happie ', who suggested me to visit Surajkund Mela  for our next vlog. I told Khazan about this idea. Firstly, I read a blog about this fair, where someone wrote that there will be no entry after 9 am. Accordingly, I asked Khazan to be prepared for this. Later on, I checked the website and it was 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm. I told Khazan that we will take Faridabad metro as it was going to held in Faridabad. Later on, I found out that Badarpur metro station is the closest one. Khazan was already prepared this time, as he was used to take money from the shop on the same day of the journey. It added more than half an hour for our journey. I got up early in the morning, around 5:30 am. After a short workout, cooked something in the kitchen (Chholley). I was fully prepared before 8 am, as it was t...
